A note about these numbers…

These outcomes reflect the journeys of the families I’ve supported. Each birth is shaped by that families specific desires, circumstances, and the unique magic of that moment. This snapshot is simply a glimpse of the experiences I’ve had the honor to witness.

Areas served

If you are within an hour of Omaha, Nebraska - including Gretna, Elkhorn, Bellevue, Papillion, and Lincoln, yay! You’re in my service area. I attend births in all Omaha, Council Bluffs & Lincoln area hospitals, and am able to travel up to two hours for home birth clients.

Finding Kayla was a heaven send. This was my husbands and my first child and we don’t have any family nearby. Her philosophy on pregnancy and the birthing process aligned so well with ours and we worked flawlessly as a team. Throughout my pregnancy I had a  very anxious and negative outlook on how my body was changing and lacked confidence in what my body could do. Kayla’s use of meditations and knowledge of laboring techniques eased my fears about labor and delivery and allowed me to take control of my pregnancy. I found the confidence to have the unmedicated natural birth I wanted with Kayla’s help and guidance. She, my husband and my mom were all in the labor and delivery room with me and I couldn’t have selected a greater team around me during that beautiful and spiritual process. Kayla was our guide, our friend and our advocate. We didn’t just end up with a doula when we hired Kayla, we got a team mate. We are forever grateful and beyond words for her support and expertise. She’s the only person we’d trust with our birthing experience again and again!

I’ll never forget one of her comments during my son’s birth… I was struggling and expressing uncertainty…she reminded me to “just trust your body.” It was a simple reminder but exactly what I needed to hear in that moment.
